San Diego, CA - Kevin P. Bluse, age 56, of 940 Park Blvd San Diego, CA and former Republic resident passed away Monday, September 25th, 2023, at his home in San Diego.

Kevin was born in Ishpeming on February 22, 1967, a son of the late Nancy D. (Alatalo) and Noel G. Bluse. He grew up in Republic and enjoyed the outdoors in his younger years. He was a graduate of the Republic-Michigamme High School, Class of 1985.  Kevin served in the United States Navy, being honorably discharged in 1989. He spent most of his adult life in San Diego, CA.  He will be remembered as one who truly loved his family, lived his life his way, and had a knack for his ability to talk to anyone.

Kevin is survived by a sister, Cindy (Mike McDonnell) Boyer of Marquette, two brothers, Larry (Lori) Bluse of Ishpeming and Jim (Tanya) Bluse of San Ramon, CA, nieces and nephews, Stacey (Shelley) Bluse of Negaunee, Danielle (Chris) Hagan of Plymouth and Tyler Bluse of San Ramon, CA, along with great nieces and nephews, Chaz, Emilee and Jillian Bluse, Louis and Eloise Hagan.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the River Rock Banquet Center, 1011 N Road in Ishpeming, where military honors will be accorded by the United States Navy along with the Marquette American Legion, Post 44 at 1:30pm.
