Gwinn- Keith A. Marceau, age 66 of 337 N. Noren Lake Lane, Gwinn passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the emergency room at Marquette General Hospital.
Keith was born May 30, 1941 in Marquette to Albert & Winifred (Mildon) Marceau. He graduated from Graveraet High School in 1959. Keith was drafted in the United States Army in 1966. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1968.
Keith worked for Marquette General Hospital for 23 years, retiring as Director of Bulk Stores in 1998. Keith was a member of the American Legion Post 349 of Little Lake. Keith enjoyed watching & reading Western stories. He liked watching the Detroit Tigers. Keith enjoyed time spent at the 4-40's hunting camp and spending the winter months in Yuma, Arizona. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their activities.
Keith is survived by his wife Karen (Dagenais) Marceau, two daughters, Joelene (Tom) Farley and Jayne (Mike) Mattias both of Ishpeming, 4 grandchildren Eric & Lauren Farley, Madysen & Jack Mattias, a sister JoAnne (Maurice) Bruegeman of Genessee, ID, 6 brothers: Donald Marceau of Milwaukee, Robert (Addie) Marceau of Harvey, Eugene (Carol) Marceau of Harvey, Douglas (Rose) Marceau of Gwinn, David (Chere) Marceau of Yuma, AZ and Stephen (Charlotte) Marceau of Skandia along with numerous nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters Wanda Gustafson and Grace Zintman.
Funeral services will be held 7:00p.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home in Marquette with Fr. James Challancin officiating.
Friends may call Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00p.m. until the service time at 7:00p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Beals, David Gutzman, Tom Trotochaud, Dan LaBelle, Tom Dagenais, and Blaine Marceau.
