Obituary
Ishpeming- Kathleen Mayotte, age 77 formerly of 1530 Aspen Drive Ishpeming passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Mather Nursing Center while in the care of Lake Superior Hospice.
Kathy was born July 16, 1938 in Marquette to William & Elsie (Mattson) Simons. She enjoyed her time while living on Lake Michigamme where she enjoyed swimming & gardening.
Kathy is survived by 2 children: Barbara (Bill) Thomas of Ishpeming and Paul (Janet) Anderson of Buckeye, AZ, a brother Russell (Linda) Simons of Monroe, New Jersey, 3 grandchildren: Eric Thomas of Oakland, CA, Christopher Anderson of Loveland, CO and Janelle Anderson of Buckeye, AZ, nieces & nephews and 3 step daughters. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis "Shorty" Mayotte, and her twin brother Charles "Buzzie" Simons and brother George Simons.
Kathy's family would like to thank Lake Superior Hospice and the staff at Mather Nursing Center for the wonderful care given to Kathy.
