Obituary
Ishpeming – Kathryn "Katie" Helen Baca, age 68, of 423 W. Euclid, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at Marquette General Hospital in the Lake Superior Hospice Unit.
Kathryn was born on December 26, 1939, the daughter of the late Donald and Helen (Tregoning) MacDonald in Ishpeming. She was a guidance counselor at the McKinley County Gallup Public Schools in Gallup New Mexico where she resided for nearly 30 years.
Survivors include her daughters: Maria (Jeremiah) Kramer of Negaunee, Elizabeth Thomason and Kris (Calvin) Thomason both of Gallup New Mexico, a sister: MaryAnn MacDonald of Ironwood and 7 Grandchildren. Katie is preceded in death by her son Donald Behrens.
Funeral services at Good News Assembly of God Church have been canceled and a private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
