West Ishpeming - Julie A. Eliason, age 67, of West Ishpeming, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her home.

Julie was born in Ishpeming on March 11, 1953, daughter of the late Betty A. (Carlson) and Melvin A. Eliason. She was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 1971.  Julie had resided in West Ishpeming her entire life.  She was an avid reader and would share her novels with family members after reading them herself.

Julie is survived by aunt and uncle, Anita and Bernard Mattila, aunt, Marlene Eliason, uncle, Clyde Carlson all of Ishpeming, along with numerous cousins.

A private graveside service will be held in the spring at the Ishpeming Cemetery at which time Julie will be laid to rest with her parents.
