Ishpeming – Judith C. Thibodeau, age 72, of 415 Excelsior St., Ishpeming, passed away on Friday October 19, 2018 at her home.

Judith was born May 30, 1946 in Ishpeming, the daughter of the late William and Thelma (Wallberg) Parviainen. She moved to Iron River while in High School where she graduated in 1964.  Judith returned to Ishpeming shortly after graduating and resided here since.

Judith enjoyed bowling in the local Tuesday and Thursday Ladies Leagues.  She cherished her pets throughout her lifetime including her current dog "Theodore".  During the summer months she enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and spending time at camp on Perch Lake.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Judith is survived by her daughters Carol (Martin) Kilberg of Miamisburg, OH and Roberta (John) Janesch of Monroe, OH; grandchildren – Anastasia and Jonathan Kilberg & Jenna and Jackson Janesch, sister Colleen Collins of Ishpeming, brothers – Douglas (Mary) Parviainen of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and William (Marilyn) Parviainen of Lansing, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 3 – 4pm on Thursday October 25, 2018 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00pm on Thursday with the Rev. Stacy Pethke to officiate.  A funeral luncheon will be served following the services in the Trinity Lutheran Church hall.
