Ishpeming- Judith Ann (Judy) Morcom, age 69, of 147 Terrace Street Ishpeming, MI, passed away at her home on  Wednesday, November 18, 2020 while under the loving care of her family and UP Home Health and Hospice after a courageous 13 year battle with breast cancer.

Judith was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on March 14, 1951, a daughter of the late Helen Leona (Stone) and Roy Dymond.

She attended National Mine School. For 25 years she worked as a cook for the Congress Pizza.

Softball was her passion, she played for 45 years in the Iron Range Softball League for Hickeys-Venice as a shortstop and then as a first baseman. She was also in the Ishpeming Negaunee Horseshoe League for many years, Judy played cribbage with her daughter in the Negaunee Cribbage League. She also liked playing BINGO, the Green Bay Packers, and loved to watch her grandkids, and great grandkids in various sports, especially Hailey.

On March 28, 1974 she was united in marriage to Terry Morcom celebrating 45 years of marriage this year.

Judith is  survived by her husband Terry "Nib"; Four daughters, Tammy (John) Hytinen, Kathy (Mark Stampee) Maynard, Julie (Jim) Boxley, and Amy (Mark) Richards; and a son, Bill (Becky) Morcom all of Ishpeming.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Jennifer (Mike) Polkki, Ashley (Brent) Hytinen, Rachel Hytinen, Derrick (Kaylin) Maynard, Amanda (John) Wright, Steven (Jordan) Holmgren, Brandon Holmgren, Miley Morcom, Mackenzie Richards, Bryan Richards, Leland Richards, 12 great grandchildren: Hailey, John, Jordy, Trevor, Tessa, Taylor, Madisyn, Axel, Jayden, Jayce, Kennedy, Grayson, and # 13 Ryleigh expected in January, a sister, Ruth (David) Cox, of Ishpeming; a brother, Roy Dymond, of Ishpeming; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also survived by her cat Sassy Girl

She was preceded in death by her Parents, son Roy "Boyka" Steede, and a sister Betsy Lawer.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions a celebration of Judy's life will be held at a later date.
