Negaunee, MI- Joyce Ann Koski, 95, former Ishpeming resident passed away at sunset on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Teal Lake Senior Living Community, while in the loving care of family, U.P. Home Heath and Hospice and staff at Teal Lake SLC.

Joyce was born in Marquette, Michigan on January 17, 1929, a daughter of Walter T. and Delia (Beaudry) Hurley. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School.

Joyce is survived by three daughters, Karen Palomaki, Julie Schweppe, Pamela (Jeff) Kellett, a son David (Kathryn) Koski, grandchildren; Brandi (Jeremy) Hartsell, Sean (Melissa) Palomaki, Eric (Tiffany) Schweppe, Alexandra Scofield, Geoffrey (Taylor) Scofield, Jennifer (Phill) Prather, Kristin (Dan) Robinson, Laura Lau, Emily Koski, Matthias Koski, son-in-law Robin Juchemich, along with great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin Koski, a daughter Denise Juchemich, sons-in-laws; Howard Schweppe and Perry Palomaki, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon, on Saturday October 19, 2024, at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow at the Negaunee ELK's Lodge.

Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial considerations may be directed to UP Home Health and Hospice or Teal Lake Senior Living Community.
