Ishpeming- Joseph A. Henson, age 40, lifelong Ishpeming area resident passed away on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at UP Health System Marquette while in the loving care of his family and hospital staff.

Joe was born in Ishpeming on July 15, 1978, son of Mark and Gale (Olgren) Henson. He attended Westwood High School graduating with the class of 1996.

Joe was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Ishpeming. He enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, the outdoors, going on bike rides with his son, and going to their family camp on the Dead River Basin. Joe was very considerate, helpful, enjoyed crime shows on tv, and loved his son Jase.

Joe is survived by his parents- Mark and Gale Henson, maternal grandparents- Francis and Janet Olgren, Paternal grandmother- Betty Henson, son- Jase Henson, sister- Bobbi (Rick) Sansom, aunt- Linda (Terry) Michael, Beverly Langford, uncles- Glen (Roberta) Henson Jr., Ronald Olgren, along with several nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather- Glen Henson Sr.

A private memorial service will be held in celebration of Joe's life.
