Obituary
Palmer, MI – Jordan L. Ford, age 22, of 110 Richmond Rd., Palmer was taken from this earth too early on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 while at home.
Jordan was born August 7, 1993 in Marquette the son of Lori (Niemi) and Ronald Ford. He grew up in Palmer and attended the Negaunee Schools. While growing up Jordan was involved in BMX, loved camping and the many sporting trips he took with his siblings. He was a graduate of Hartman High School, Class of 2013.
Jordan will be remembered as an adventurous soul who loved spending time with his friends. In recent years he enjoyed attending music festivals, along with showing his creative side through his painting. He truly loved to be around animals.
Survivors include his mother and step-father Lori and Mike Lancour of Palmer, his father Ronald Ford of Palmer, 2 brothers – Benjamin (Cami Truscott) Ford and their son Elijah of Marquette, Andy (Ally) Lancour and their son Tucker of Marquette, sister Amanda (Aaron) Adriano and their daughter Hayden of Ishpeming, grandparents – Donna Rush of Palmer, Richard Ford of Arkansas, Ronald (Linda) Niemi of National Mine, Sharon (Dean) Bocklund of Ishpeming and Larry (Joanne) Lancour of Marquette, great grandparents John and Joan Niemi of Ishpeming, aunt Lori (Mike) Foley, and their children children Clinton & Courtney, uncle Ronnie (Terry) Niemi, close cousin Ronnie Niemi, and cousins MacKenzie & Hunter Niemi, auntie Lisa McGuire and her children Ben & Brad Bolo, along with extended family members and a world full of friends.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 10am – 12noon on Friday July 8, 2016 at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Ishpeming. A memorial service will follow at the Bethel Lutheran Church at 12:00noon on Friday with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate. A luncheon will be served in the church hall at the conclusion of the services.
