Negaunee Twp. – John W. Junttila, age 70, of 12 Longyear Dr. passed away on Saturday August 11, 2007.
John was born on August 30, 1936 in National Mine, MI. He was a graduate of Negaunee High School and Michigan Tech where he received an electrical engineering degree. He worked for Ohio Edison in Akron, Ohio and later was a consultant for several power firms in Casper, WY and Seattle, WA.
John was preceded in death by his wife Helen and two brothers, Paul and Peter Junttila. He is survived by three sisters, Mary "Betty" Perala of Fairbanks, Alaska, Charlotte (Carl) Larson on Menominee, MI and Miriam (David) Mitchell of Prescott, Arizona.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Negaunee Cemetery.
