Ishpeming- John "Izzy" Isotalo age 63 of 935 Cottage St. in North Lake, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday March 22, 2018.

John was born March 24, 1954 to the late Corinne and Mathew Isotalo. After graduating from Ishpeming High School, John went on to graduate summa cum laude with a master's degree in design from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He then worked in design for General Motors in Detroit before returning home to Ishpeming in 1997. John worked for several years in the maintenance department at the Ramada Inn in Marquette before leaving that job to be a full-time care giver for his mother.

John is survived by his ex-wife- Marcelle, brother- Bruce (Liz) Isotalo of Saginaw, sisters- Carol (Richard) Park of Hinsdale, IL, and Bonnie (Greg Everett) Gravedoni of Eagle River, WI, step brothers- Dan Baldini of Gladstone, and Larry (Mary) Baldini of Lancaster, CA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Janine (Tim) Dellangelo and Andrea (Erik) Korpi who were John's caregivers over the past few months. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father- Emelio Baldini, sister- Diane Grau, and nephew Troy Gravedoni.

At John's request no funeral services will be held.
