Ishpeming- John "Jack" Warren Goettsche, age 75 of 2007 Prairie Ave, Ishpeming passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Marquette General Hospital where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.

John was born on July 27, 1936 in Evanston, IL to John & Bernice (Clavy) Goettsche. He graduated from Glenbrook High School and served his country in the US Marine Corps.

John was a mason working out of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworks Union Local 9. John enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting, fishing and cutting firewood. He loved stream fishing for brook trout and lake trout fishing on Lake Superior. John was also an avid gardener.

John is survived by his wife Eleanor (Heyden) Goettsche whom he married on June 20, 1959, three daughters: Linda (David) Jarvi of Ishpeming, Lori (Kris) Askew of Norco, CA, and Leslie (Gary) Buebel of Las Flores, CA, a grandson Tyler Annarino of Las Flores, CA, and a brother James Goettsche of Glenview, IL. John was preceded in death by his parents, John & Bernice.

Per John's request there will be no services.
