Ishpeming- JoAnne E. Racine longtime Ishpeming area resident, passed away on Thursday December 26, 2019 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of her family and nursing home staff.

JoAnne was born in Palmer on April 16, 1930, daughter of the late Jack and Gladys (Swanson) Nease. She graduated from Negaunee High School.

JoAnne was avid in crocheting, and knitting, she loved to cook, pick berries, and spend time with her grandkids.

JoAnne is survived by 3 children- Paul (Julie) Racine, Joe (Debbie) Racine, Suzy (Bob) Treloar, brother- Conrad Nease, sister- Suzanne Bjorne, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents- Jack Nease and Gladys Nease-Marietti, her husband- Ernest Racine, and brothers- Jack Nease, Howard "Jerry" Nease.

Following JoAnne's wishes cremation will take place with no public services.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility for the wonderful care they gave to JoAnne.
