Ishpeming- James "Jimmy" L. Hansen, age 31, of 115 E. Johnson St .Ishpeming, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Marquette General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Jim was born January 14, 1977 in Ishpeming to George & Sandra (Reynolds) Hansen. Jim graduated from Gwinn High School, class of 1995. Jimmy enjoyed the outdoors, he liked hunting, and fishing and most recently enjoyed the game of golf. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Jim was a member of the Old Fashion Baptist Church in Ishpeming.

Jim is survived by his mother Sandy Reynolds, step father Jay L. Bierlein, of Ishpeming a brother Bill Hansen of Negaunee, 2 nephews Seth & Dillan, his maternal grandfather William "Poppsi" Reynolds of Ishpeming, uncles: Steven (Barbara) Reynolds, Chuck (Debbie) Reynolds, Ronald (Susie) Reynolds, Dan (Marla) Reynolds, John Hansen all of Ishpeming along with special friends Sue Johnson and Paul Nault and a step brother Tobin James Bierlein. Jim was preceded in death by his father George, paternal grandparents, Florence and John Hansen, maternal grandmother Shirley Reynolds and a sister in law Yvonne Hansen

A Memorial service will be held 4:00pm Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Old Fashion Baptist Church, 321 S. 4th St. Ishpeming with Pastor Rob Kemp officiating.

Friends may call at the Old Fashion Baptist Church in Ishpeming on Friday from 2:00-4:00pm.
