Ishpeming- Jill A. Roberts, age 75, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away on Monday April 26, 2021 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of nursing home staff.

Jill was born in Ishpeming on June 14, 1945, daughter of the late Ivan Bannon and Edna Phillips. She earned an Associate Degree before going on to work as a Pharmacy Tech at the K-Mart Pharmacy in Marquette where she retired in 2008.

Jill was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved doing genealogy, and helping others research their family trees. Jill spent most of her free time at the Family History Center in the LDS Church Marquette Ward. She also volunteered her time helping local school libraries. One of Jills favorite tings to do was ride or walk around Presque Isle Park and of course always get ice cream. She loved spending time with her grandchildren searching for cool rocks on the shores of Lake Superior.

Jill is survived by her 2 children- Brent Roberts, Michael Roberts, daughter-in-law- Sharon Roberts, 2 grandchildren- Parker and Hudson Roberts, and 2 sisters- Donna (Bannon) Friz, and Jeanette (Bannon) Herrlinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother- Scott Bannon, and sister- Bonnie (Bannon) Hendrickson.

A memorial service is tentatively planned for the middle of June.
