Champion, MI- Jerry I. Bowen age 58 of 3428 Co. Rd. AAJ Champion passed away Tuesday September 1, 2015 at home while in the loving care of his family and UP Home Health & Hospice.

Jerry was born October 11, 1956 in Huntington, WV where resided until he was in his 20's. He later moved to Lower Michigan and returned to Barboursville in 2001,and has resided in Champion since April 2015. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jerry was a proud father and grandfather and cherished time spent with family.

Jerry is survived by 3 children: Jeremy (Sarah) Bowen, Tanya Bowen and Joshua Bowen all of Champion,, grandchildren: Brayden Ricketts, Tori Ricketts & Laynee Merrills and their mother Rebecca Ricketts, 2 brothers: William (Shirley Childers) Watts of Barboursville, WV, and Robert (Jill) Black of Bailey MI, along with several much loved nieces and nephews. And special friends in his life Catherine Bowen- Plankey and Erma Abbott

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Beatrice Bowen and a brother Lee Adkins.

A service for Jerry will be held at a late date in West Virginia.
