Republic, MI – Jeffrey S. DuMoulin, 65, a longtime resident of Republic, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility, where he had resided for the past three years. He was lovingly cared for by his family, the staff at Marquette County Medical Care Facility, and U.P. Home Health and Hospice.

Jeff was born on March 3, 1960, in Green Bay, WI, to Jean M. (Drake) and the late James S. DuMoulin. He grew up in Republic and graduated from Republic-Michigamme High School with the Class of 1978. Jeff was the proud owner and operator of DuMoulin Trucking for many years and also worked as a truck driver for various logging operations in the area.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeff enjoyed camping, working on cars, and spending time with his beloved German Shepherds and horses. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Terri DuMoulin of Republic; daughters Jordan Wixtrom and Shawna DuMoulin; sons Derrick DuMoulin and Jacob DuMoulin; his mother Jean (Dean) Korte; sister Barb (Daryl) Tammelin; brother Bryan DuMoulin; and three grandchildren, Henna DuMoulin, Jack Wixtrom, and Emberly Lipomi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James DuMoulin, and his in-laws, Jack and Liz Wixtrom.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Republic Township Hall, 279 Kloman Ave., Republic, MI.
