Ishpeming- Jedd A. Hallum, age 32, lifelong area resident, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2023 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay surrounded by his loving family, and hospital staff following a brief illness.

Jedd was born on December 2, 1990 in Ishpeming, MI, son of Greg Hallum and the late Audrey Tousignant. Growing up he attended NICE Community Schools and graduated with the class of 2010. In his younger years Jedd loved spending his summers playing Little League baseball, and his winters playing ice hockey.

Jedd was extremely family oriented and being with his large family was what he treasured most.  He loved hanging out with his best friend, and top role model, his Dad.  Jedd was a long awaited dream come true for his family being the baby brother to many older sisters.  He was spoiled, waited on, and insanely loved by all of them.  His protective, nurturing attributes were a direct correlation of his inseparable bond with his Mom.

Jedd was more of a private man in his adult years but once he let you in, you got to see an abundance of amazing qualities that made him uniquely special.  He was helpful, gentle, tender-hearted, easy going, and the sweetest soul.  Jedd was also daring, adventurous and hilarious.  He would make you laugh without saying a word (his expressions were priceless) and leave you breathless with laughter.

Jedd had a deep love for dogs and found joy when spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing with his Dad or riding his dirt bike.

Jedd will be dearly missed by so many, especially his family.  He was so big hearted that he would love to be celebrated by having everyone love one another, never be judgmental, and give extra kindness to the animals.

Jedd is survived by his father- Greg (Jane) Hallum, 7 siblings- Jaimee (Chad) Dobson, Jenny (Ron Mortti) Knight, Emily (Josh) Nault, Elyssa (Adam) Gregurash, Eryn (Jesse) Baldini, Amanda (Kyle) Kozak, Jaime (Chace) Galloway. Special Nephew- Orion, nieces and nephews- Jaxson, Morgan, Addy, Lizzy, Avery, Carsen, Kaden, Bannock, Danslie, Hunter, Anna, Ashley, paternal grandmother- Patricia Hallum, and step-grandmother- Mary Bishop, special friend- Taylor Mitchell, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother- Audrey Hallum, maternal grandparents- Albert and Karen Tousignant, paternal grandfather- Harland Hallum.

Following Jedd's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services at this time.
