Obituary
Ishpeming Twp- Jeanne E. Mosca, age 88 of 1750 Rosewood Lane Ishpeming passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at the UP Health System Marquette with her family at her side.
Jeanne was born April 22, 1927 in Ishpeming to Peter & Aldea (Morin) Delongchamp. She graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1945. Jeanne worked at the H.W. Gossard Company and later on her and her husband owned and operated the Triangle Motel.
Jeanne was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed liquid embroidering, sewing and reading. She lived for her family and was a devoted caregiver for her son Michael for 38 years.
Jeanne is survived 3 daughters: Jo Ann (Mike) Fraser of Ishpeming, Sandie (Ted) McKee of Green Bay, WI and Gloria (Dan) Sparapani of Harvey, a son Michael Mosca of Ishpeming, 10 grandchildren: Amy Hebert, Tina (Tim) Romback, Teresa (Chris) Perry, Mark Fraser, Kristen (Damon) Arsenault, Tira (Don) McClure, Cory (Tracey) McKee, Cheryl (Ron) Sinsel, Gina (Ray) Keskimaki, and Mindy (Bo) Moore, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, a brother Jack (Brenda) Delongchamp of Beaumont, CA, along with numerous nieces, nephews including her Missouri bunch. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Aldea and Peter Delongchamp, her husband Albert "Pic" Mosca, 3 sisters: Irene & Helen Delongchamp and Alice Thexton and a great granddaughter Courtney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Friday March 4, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming with Fr. Larry Van Damme & Fr. George Maki as con-celebrants.
Jeanne's family will greet relatives and friends at St. Johns Church on Friday from 10:00am until the time of the Mass at 12:00 Noon. A luncheon will follow the service at K/D Hall.
Pallbearers will be Larry, John & Clifford Thexton, Ryan Harper, Jordan Hebert, Tanner & Trevor Romback, Cory McKee ad D.J. McClure.
