Ishpeming- Jean Alice Revello, age 89 of 2006 Jackson Ave. Ishpeming passed away peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord on November 25, 2011 at the Marquette Co. Medical Care Facility where she has been a resident since April 2003.
Jean was born August 9, 1922 in North Lake Location to Martin & Alice (Dobbs) DeVold. She graduated in 1940 from Ishpeming High School. She married Wallace Revello on July 13, 1946.
Jean was a member of St. Joseph Church where she was active in the church guild. She was a wonderful homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and sewing: making clothes for her family. Jean was an accomplished seamstress who made many dresses for special occasions such as weddings and proms.
Jean is survived by her husband of 65 years Wallace Revello, three children: James (Barbara) Revello, Mary (Jerry) Spencer and Kris Revello all of Ishpeming, a sister Beverly Kent of Marquette, 7 grandchildren: Janet (Brad) Blake, Kris (Mark) Burke, Jackie Herman, Peter Revello, Paul (Shannon) Revello, Natalie Spencer and Ashley Kivisto, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Cheryl Jean Revello, a brother Woodrow DeVold, and sisters: Eileen Betts; Lucille Johnstone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 29th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming with Fr. James Challancin officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
Pallbearers will be Jean's grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility for all the loving care and compassion they showed for Jean and Wally the past 8-1/2 years.
