Obituary
Ishpeming- Janet E. Tremethick, age 77 of 445 W. Johnson St. Ishpeming, passed away, Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Mather Nursing Center.
Janet was born August 19, 1930 in Ishpeming to Henry & Mary (Rintala) Williams. Janet married Kenneth Tremethick on October 22, 1957. Janet worked as a sales clerk at Woolworths in Ishpeming and later at the Fashion Bug in Marquette.
Janet is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ken Tremethick, 4 children: Martin (Mary Jane) Tremethick of Negaunee, Ann Marie (Steven) Bailey of Ishpeming, John Tremethick of Ishpeming and Dennis (Edith) Tremethick of Vacaville, CA, 1 sister Muriel Erickson of Livonia, MI, 4 brothers: Byron Williams of Negaunee, Paul Williams of California, Jackie (Carol) Kangas of Walled Lake, MI and Robert Williams of Newberry, 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, an uncle Paul (Donna) Rintala of Ishpeming along with numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Marlene Williams.
Funeral services will be held 1:00p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating. Burial will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery
Friends may call the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00noon until the time of service at 1:00pm.
