Palmer - Janet Content, age 80, of 100 Isabella Ave., passed away at 6:30 AM, Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 at Warner Creek Residential Care Facility in Richmond Twp, where she had resided for the past 3 years.

Janet was born June 22, 1928 the daughter of the late Jacob and Marguerite (Beck) Bofink in Jackson, MI. She had resided in Detroit, Holland, and Boyne City. While in Detroit she had sang in her church choir for several years. Janet moved to this area in 2006.

Janet is survived by three sons: David King of Boise, ID, Douglas (Denise) King of Ishpeming, and Randy (Sue) Content of Holland, along with 4 Grandchildren: Carolyn (Andy) Hardy, Tara King, Sherry Content and Nathan Content, and 5 great grandchildren. Janet is also survived by a sister, Marilyn (Richard) Lee of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Content.

Committal services and interment will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park at 11:00am on Friday February 27, 2009.
