Obituary
Ishpeming- James C. Smith age 90 of 111 Bluff St. #610 Ishpeming, passed away Sunday, December, 23, 2007 at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette where he been a resident for the past 11/2 years.
James is survived by his wife of 63 years Evelyn (Valato) Smith of Ishpeming, 3 children: Larry Smith of Marquette, Linda (Jack) Noble and Laura Smith both of Ishpeming, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, including special granddaughters: Christine (Roger) Anderson and Jessie Goethe both of Ishpeming. James was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Evelyn (Elsner) Smith and a brother Lyle Smith.
Private funeral services were held on Thursday, December 27, 2007. Burial took place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
