Obituary
Brenham, TX – James M. Daugherty, age 46 former Ishpeming area resident passed away on Sunday August 28, 2011 at his home in Texas.
James was born June 2, 1965 in Marquette. Jim was the son of James P. and Dorothy S. (Velin) Daugherty. He was a graduate of the Westwood High School, Class of 1983. He went on to serve in the United States Army. James spent the past ten years in Texas and prior to that had lived in Wisconsin and the local area.
Survivors include his son Brandon J. Daugherty of Marquette, his parents James P. and Dorothy S. (Velin) Daugherty of Ishpeming, and a sister Sue (Thad) Cooper of Grayling.
A private graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
