Ishpeming- James B. Howland Sr. age 67 of 305 Cleveland Ave Ishpeming, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Bell Hospital.
James was born October 22, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late James & Cecelia Howland. He served in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis and worked as a Teamster Union truck driver for 25 years. James enjoyed living in the UP where he could hunt and fish and enjoyed working on cars.
James is survived by 3 children: Tammy (Robert) Carter of Anchorage, AK, James Howland Jr. of Ingleside, IL and Dawn Howland of Chicago, IL 5 grandchildren: Kyle & Garrett Carter, Jeremy, Justice and Jasmine Howland, 2 sisters: Patricia Cuttone of Des Plaines, IL and Nancy (James) Mack of Wheaton, IL along with nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
