Republic, MI- James F. Edwards, age 67 of 3256 Fence River Rd, Republic passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was born February 8, 1948 youngest of 13 children.

Jim was employed by General Motors for 35 years. He was a veteran of Vietnam serving from 1970-1972 and served in the National Guard from 1976-1981. Jim enjoyed "tinkering", the outdoors; hunting & fishing, and bowling.

Jim is survived by his wife Elaine of 45 years, children Thomas, Maria, James Jr, Shawn & Cheri, many grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and also many nieces and nephews. Jim was very grateful for his family, many friends, church family & community.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Republic with Rev. Kevin Kaiser officiating.

Jim's family will greet relatives and friends at the Bethany Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Military honors will be accorded by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 380.
