Las Vegas, NV - James C. Bjorklund, age 83, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Spring Valley Hospital, in Las Vegas, NV.

James was born in National Mine, MI on April 2, 1938, a son of the late Sylvia (Maki) and Conrad A. Bjorklund. He was graduate of the National Mine High School, Class of 1956. James served in the US Navy for 22 years in the submarine division, three years of which were spent in the Antarctic. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and had a 25-year second career with the United States Postal Service in Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving is a brother Robert Bjorklund of Kenosha, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home.  A graveside committal service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Ishpeming Cemetery, where Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Navy.
