Ishpeming Twp, MI- Jacqueline Phyllis "Jackie" Pennala, age 75, Ishpeming Township resident passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Jacqueline was born in Marquette, Michigan on February 18, 1947.

Jackie was a homemaker and worked as a kitchen aide for the NICE Community School District. Jackie enjoyed talking and having coffee with her friends, taking care of grandkids, and attending their sporting events.

Jackie is survived by her husband Bruce Pennala, whom she married on December 10, 1965, three daughters, Carla (Jamie) Bersinger, Jodi (Jon) Black, Becky (Luke) Abendroth, 4 grandchildren; April (Lee) Erspamer, Danielle (Derrick) Burke, Matt (Hailey) Duhame, and Emily Black, 5 great grandchildren; Tessa, Lydia and Luka Burke, Christopher and Jillian Erspamer, four sisters; Margaret Borlace, Robyn (Ken) Kinnunen, Joleyn (Phil) McCotter, Pat O'Neil, a brother, Ron (Debbie) Major, and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elaine Moyle, granddaughter Chelsea Coron, brother Joe Moyle, brother in law Ernie Borlace.

A luncheon will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday July 2, 2023 at the Bible Baptist Church followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:30 pm.
