Jack was born August 9, 1941 in Marion, SC the son of the late Clarence and Bessie (Best) Noble. He moved to Niles, MI with his family where he had graduated from High School. Jack served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Chuckewan during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Jack went on to Ferris State University where he received his BA in Accounting. Jack had worked for Marquette General Hospital as the Business Manager two times, and he always stated that Jim Richards was "the man who hired me twice." Jack retired from MGH as their Business Manager in 2006.
Jack was an avid outdoorsman who didn't get his first buck until he had been hunting for 17 years. Jack went on to slay a good many more, with most of them coming in the company of fellow employee and goof friend Mike Wipfley, at Mike's camp. He loved fishing, his Chesapeake retrievers, duck hunting and firearms. He was a bright and caring man who was kind and gentle and yet sometimes as abrasive as sand-paper when he had to be. He served on the Board of Directors at the North Star Academy for many years and maintained a keen interest in the charter school system. Jack also loved sports throughout his life and in his younger years did sports reporting for local newspapers in Niles, MI and South Bend, IN.
