Michigamme Twp.- Irene Sylvia Innerebner, age 80, of HCR 1 Box 1041, Michigamme, died on Tuesday July 3, 2007 at Mather Nursing Center where she had resided for the last month under the care of her family and Lake Superior Hospice.

Irene was born in Tigerton, WI on August 13, 1926 to the late Arthur and Elsie (Marquardt) Seefeldt.


Irene moved to Michigamme in the late 1940's. She thoroughly enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren and watching the Atlanta Braves and NASCAR on TV. Irene also enjoyed the deer and other wildlife that passed through her yard on a daily basis.


She is survived by her sons: James (Bernadine) Innerebner of Brimley, MI, Donald "Bucky" (Sandy) Innerebner of Conyers, GA, John (Violy) Innerebner of Ishpeming, MI, daughter: Carla (Dennis) Skytta of Michigamme, 6 grandchildren: Jami (George) Moran, Nick (Ali) Innerebner, Bobbi (Ron) Soban, Lisa (Jason) Ford, Matt (Danielle Podner) Skytta, Dana Skytta, 6 great grandchildren, A.J. Violetta, Justin Bishop, Jared Ford, Andrew, Laura, Julie Innerebner, several nieces and nephews and special neighbors Robbie and Michelle Delliss.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Herbert of 50 years in 1996.

A private family service will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Tooman officiating.
