Obituary
Negaunee- Inona "Nonie" M. Certo, age 83 of 98 Croix St. Negaunee passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital.
Inona was born in Negaunee, on January 1, 1926, to the late Martin and Amanda (Glazier) Hansen. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Negaunee, and enjoyed knitting, and baking.
Nonie was survived by her children: Clyde (Susan) Certo of Ishpeming, & Joseph Certo of Sherwood, WI, Grandchildren: Duane Certo, Linda (Vito) Carello, Natalie (Bill) LaMere, & JoAnn (Timothy) Hyatt, Great Grandchildren: Challan, Nick, Gavin, & Connor Certo, special angels-Jessica & Christian Carello, Megan & Alex LaMere, Timothy, Hailey, & Hannah Hyatt, along with several nieces & nephews. Nonie was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Certo in 1975, sister: Leona Trudell & Vivian Royea, brothers: Ivan Hansen & Rheinhart Hansen, & grandson Brian Certo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Negaunee, with the Rev. Msgr. Peter Oberto officiating.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 10:00AM until the time of services on Saturday at the church. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
