Ishpeming- H. Florence Millimaki, age 91, of 195 Silver St. Ishpeming passed away Saturday December 26, 2015 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where she been a resident since November 2015. She resided at Mill Creek Assisted Living for the past 7 years.

Helen Florence Millimaki was born July 25, 1924 in Ishpeming to Alfred & Elizabeth Hendrickson. She graduated from Ishpeming High School. Florence worked as a bank teller at the Miners Bank in Ishpeming and later worked as a bookkeeper for Ishpeming Building Supply.

Florence was a proud grandmother, who cherished her time spent with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader. Camping was a favorite pastime she enjoyed with her family.

Florence is survived by a son Kevin (Cheryl) Millimaki of Marquette, 2 grandchildren: Andrea (Luke) Haara of Ishpeming and Kenneth Millimaki of Negaunee, a great granddaughter Shaelyn Haara, a niece Gail Wasson, and a nephew George Hendrickson. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Millimaki, a son Gary Millimaki, brothers: George & Norman Hendrickson and a sister Lillian Anderson

A memorial service for Florence will be celebrated at 6:00pm on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Geier officiating.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home from 4:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm.
