Ishpeming- Helen M. Koski age 95 lifelong resident of Ishpeming passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming.

Helen was born May 11, 1921 in Ishpeming to Jack "Jacob" Arthur and Lempi Elina (Leppamaki) Maki. She graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1939. Helen worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone Company. She married Reuben Koski on September 29, 1950.

Helen was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Ishpeming. She enjoyed picking berries, baking, gardening and spending time at camp at Flat Rock.

Helen is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Reuben Koski on April 23, 2016 and brothers William J. Maki and Toivo Maki.

Funeral services for Helen will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Roger Kangas officiating. Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Helen's family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2:00-3:00pm at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home.
