Ishpeming, MI- Heather Lynn "Aunty Pooh" Pizziola, 44, was born on January 14th, 1979, in Ishpeming to Glenn Pizziola and Mary (Goyen) Kjellman. Pooh passed unexpectedly in her sleep on January 15th, 2023, after celebrating what was, in her words "the best birthday since Lisa died."  Heather grew up in Ishpeming graduating from Ishpeming High School in 1997.  After graduation, Heather eventually became a CNA and worked until health issues wouldn't allow and then she became a loving caregiver to her "wife" Lisa until she passed.

Heather had an amazing voice and enjoyed singing karaoke and even had the opportunity to audition for American Idol.  She had a heart of gold and was a fierce and loyal friend, even affectionately being called "Aunty Pooh" by her friend's children.  She and Lisa had several "fur-babies" over the years that she loved with all her heart, especially her 2 chihuahuas, Lily and Cooh, that were her pride and joy.  Aunty Pooh also had a special bond with her nephews Derek, Tommy and Talan that were like her own and she would do anything for.

Heather is survived by her mother Mary Kjellman of Negaunee, father Glenn Pizziola, stepfather Richard Kjellman, her sister Christy (Jackie) Spencer-Pizziola, nephews Derek, Tommy, Talan Pizziola, Jackson and Julien Herman and niece Jenna Herman all of Ishpeming; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her beloved wife Lisa Annola  and brother Tom Pizziola both of whom she missed with every fiber of her being.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 23 ^rd at Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home, 400 N Third St, Ishpeming from 11am-12pm, with a service at 12pm officiated by Pastor Steve Weston.
