Obituary

Ishpeming – Harry H. Nault, age 93, formerly of Burt Lake, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2008 at the Marquette Co. Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming where he resided since April 1st. Harry had resided at Woodland Assisted Living Facility for the past few years.

Harry was born April 11, 1915 in Ishpeming, MI the son of the late Fred and Eva (DaCaire) Nault. He grew up in Ishpeming and graduated from the Ishpeming High School in 1935. Harry then attended Baker College in Flint for one year. On November 28, 1935 he married Helen Adams in Ishpeming. Harry had served in the United States Army in the 35th Infantry Division during World War II. Harry and Helen lived in Ishpeming until 1942 when they moved to Flint.

While in Flint, Harry worked as an administrator for Chevrolet for 32 years, retiring in 1974. Following his retirement he moved to Burt Lake in Cheboygan Co. where he had lived up until a few years ago. One of Harry's biggest enjoyments in life was taking care of all his neighbors on Burt Lake.

Harry is survived by a sister Donna (Gerald) LeSage of Ishpeming, a brother James "Perky" Nault of Ishpeming, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen on July 28, 2003, his parents, a brother Bernard Nault, and five sisters – Dorothy Coron, Florence Marietti, Bernice Meeks, Marie Surrell and Helen Johnson.


No services will be held at this time. Harry's cremains will be scattered per his request.
