Obituary
Negaunee - Harriet J. Bancroft, age 85 a resident at the Eastwood Nursing Center for the past 8 months, passed away Sunday, December 07, 2008 at the Marquette General Hospital.
Harriet was born May 30, 1923 in Manistique, MI to the late Grant E. & Lila Mae (Curry) Taylor. She lived in the Manistique area prior to moving to this area where she resided for the past 30 years.
Harriet is survived by 7 children: Linda (Leo) LaFond of Negaunee, Leon (Barb) Bancroft of Ishpeming, Cindy (Bob) Poirier of Pennsylvania, Leonard Bancroft of National Mine, Sheila Bancroft of Ishpeming, Sheldon (Brenda) Bancroft of Texas and Ann Stelph of Louisiana, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at Northland Chapel Gardens in Negaunee Twp..
