Ishpeming- Gregory C. Baldini, age 69, longtime area resident, passed away after a brief battle with cancer at his home on Saturday September 28, 2024.

Gregory was born on May 12, 1955 in Ishpeming, son of the late Charles and Irene (Hendrickson) Baldini. He was a graduate of Ishpeming Highschool class of 1973. Following graduation he went on to work at Cliffs starting at the Mather B and ending his career as a Pellet Control Room Operator, retiring in 2016 after 40+ years of service. Gregory married his wife of 38 years Jacqueline Semmens on November 9, 1985.

Gregory loved walking, stream fishing, hunting, watching the Brewers and Packers, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Gregory is survived by his wife- Jacqueline Baldini, 3 children- Dawn Amber (Jeremy) Bublitz, Aaron Baldini, Janey Joffee, 3 grandchildren- Addison and Maverick Bublitz, Luella Baldini, 5 siblings- Jeff (Vickie) Baldini, Kay (John) Wirtanen, Gerald (Peggy) Baldini, Jeanie (Greg Nault) Drier, Judy (William) Hill, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother- Tim Baldini, and brother-in-law- Kenny Drier.

Following Gregory's wishes, cremation will take place with private family services.
