Ishpeming, MI- Gregory John Collick, age 59, life-long Ishpeming resident passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Marquette County Medical Care Facility.

Gregory was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on February 10, 1964, a son of the late Milton J. and Jeanette A. (Couture) Collick. Greg graduated from Ishpeming High School, Class of 1983.

Greg worked for the Ishpeming Public Schools for Thirty years, working as a custodian and bus driver, he retired on September 1, 2022. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, panning for gold and using his metal detector. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Greg is survived by two brothers, Chuck (Eleanor) Collick, of Marquette; and Milton (Susan) Collick, of Fenton, MI, nieces and nephews;  Lisa Aisthorpe, Nichole (Tim Dresser) Williams, Julie (Jason) Collick, Lynn (Jim) Baird, Amy Collick, Brian Collick, Steve (Danielle) Collick, Joe (Natasha) Collick, Danny (Kristen) Collick, along with great nieces and great nephews a special cousin Carolee Dellangelo Smith, along with other cousins and special friend Dave Danielson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William (Jeanette) Collick.

Funeral Service for Greg will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming with John Silva officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service.

A luncheon will follow at River Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming.

Greg's family would like to thank Dr. Torreano and the staff at MCMCF especially the 400 wing for the wonderful care given to Greg.
