Ely Twp- Gloria Rose Mager, age 64 of 29296 US Hwy 41 W. Champion (Ely Twp) passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her home.

Gloria was born October 12, 1952 in Marquette to Thomas & Marjorie (Brindel) McCarthy.  She graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1971.  She worked as a housekeeper at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility for 33 years, retiring in 2008.  She enjoyed the companionship of family and friends.

Gloria is survived by a son Steven (Beverly Aho) Mager of Champion, 4 brothers: Duane McCarthy of Negaunee, Dale McCarthy of Champion, Lawrence (Susan) McCarthy of Gwinn and Alton (Joanne) McCarthy of Negaunee, 2 step grandchildren: John Barrett and Micheal Barrett, along with nieces and nephews.  Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steven Mager, and 2 sisters: Audrey McCaig and Donna Tonge.

Honoring Gloria's wishes there will be no services.
