Ishpeming – Gina C. Tassone, age 54 – we lost our loving daughter, sister, and aunt on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, after a long battle with bipolar disorder.

Gina was a free spirit! When she put her mind to something, there was no stopping her. She loved animals and the outdoors. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, and going to beagle trials with her dad when she was young. Gina spent the majority of her adult life living in California and recently was living back in Ishpeming with her mom and dad.

Gina is survived by her parents, Dominic "Mickey" and Ann Marie Tassone (Denofre) of Ishpeming, sisters Angela Tassone of Portage, IN, and Lisa Tassone of Park Ridge, IL, nieces Sylvie and Natalia Baccarelli, Eliza and Julia Hamer, a nephew Griffin Hamer, and great nephew Dominic, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

We will have a celebration of Gina's life for close friends and family from 2:00-5:00 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Teal Lake Lodge in Ishpeming.

Gina, may you finally soar free and in peace. You will be forever missed by all!
