Humboldt Twp, MI- Geraldine S. "Gerry" Davidson, age 86, Humboldt Township resident passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at UP Health System Marquette following a stroke.

Geraldine was born in Escanaba, Michigan on July 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Anne (Hansen) and Chester Nichol. She graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1953.

Gerry and her late husband Paul built their home together in Humboldt where they lived for many years. She was active in church and belonged to a prayer group for over thirty years. She was always supportive of her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their activities.

Gerry is survived by two daughters, Kris (Dave) Keranen, of Ishpeming,Kay (Carl) Bammert, of Marquette; a sister, Patt Fittante of Escanaba, a brother-in-law Phil (Ann) Davidson of Whitmore Lake, a sister-in-law, Judy Davidson of Escanaba; six grandchildren, Sarah (Troy) Henderson, Elena (Jimmy) Hemmila, Libby (Tim) Larsen, Rachel (Nick) Quayle, Matthew Bammert, and Jarrett (Stephanie) Davidson; thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Davidson; son, Matt and daughter-in-law,Catherine Davidson; two sisters, Joyce Nichol, and Jean Slattery; and three brothers, her twin, Gerald "Buzz" Nichol, Howard Nichol, and Bob Nichol.

Gerry's family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Silver Creek Church, 219 Silver Creek Road in Harvey where her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Taylor officiating.

The family kindly requests that those attending wear a mask.

Pallbearer's will be Gerry's grandchildren. Interment will take place in the Humboldt Township Cemetery.
