Ishpeming- Gary Edward Lynn, 74, of 818 Wabash St, Ishpeming, died at Heartland Healthcare Center in Canton, MI on Wednesday March 17, 2021, where he had recently been a patient.

Gary was born on March 23, 1946 at St. Mary's Hospital in Marquette, MI. He was a son to Marvin Lynn Sr. and Betty (Wallberg) Lynn. He was a 1965 graduate of Ishpeming High School.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Lynn Sr., Betty Lynn, and his brother Marvin Lynn Jr.

Survivors are a sister LaVerne (Roy) Koski, a brother Greg Lynn, both of Ishpeming. Nieces and nephews Patricia Suiste, Deborah Junak, Sheila (Brian) VanDenplas, Mark (Susan) Mullins, along with 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

One of the joys of Gary's life was the dogs he had. Over the years, he also had hamsters, gerbils, parakeets, canaries, and guinea pigs. Gary enjoyed being in the woods and going for walks with his dogs. Cooking and collecting old records were two of his hobbies. He also enjoyed being with his family.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic no services are being held.

Burial will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
