Ishpeming, MI- Gale Aho, age 63, of 533 Jasper St. Ishpeming, MI, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at her home while in the loving care of her family and UP Home Health and Hospice.

Gale was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on October 4, 1960, a daughter of the late John and Florence (Asgaard) Aho.

Gale enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing and gardening, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, and knitting.

Gale is survived by three children; Keith (Isis) Delarye, Roy (fiancée Kimberly Lamere) Delarye, and Elisabeth (fiancé Jason Ward) Langsford, 9 grandchildren; David Delarye, Dylan Delarye, Connor Delarye, and Katie Delarye, Steven Langsford, Levi Langsford, Dale Delarye,  Roy Delarye III, and Gale Delarye., an expected great grandchild, two brothers Dennis (Patricia) Aho and Dale (Donna) Aho, a sister-in-law Colleen Aho and her boyfriend Paul Kari, along with several nieces and nephews.

Gale was preceded in death by her Parents, brother John Aho, a son John Delarye, and her former husband Roy Delarye Sr.

A gathering to celebrate Gale's life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20th at Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming.

Inurnment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
