Obituary
Bessemer, MI- Fredric N. Francis, age 78 of 201 Louis St. Bessemer passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming where he had been a resident for the past 2 weeks.
Fredric was born July 29, 1936 in Gastonia, NC to the late Emmett & Marie (Plyler) Francis. After graduating from high school Fred attended Wake Forest University and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Fred moved to the Bessemer area in the mid 1970's where he has resided ever since.
Fred is survived by his twin daughters: Sera (Michael) Baird of Ishpeming and Serena (Jeff) Peskie of Houghton, his former wife Eleanore Fiori of Marquette and a step grandson Blake Peskie. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Marie Francis.
Honoring Fred's wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Sunday
May 24th from 1:00-3:00 pm CST at Fred's home at 201 Louis St Bessemer, Michigan.
