Champion – Frederick "Fred" P. Levi, age 80, of Champion passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017 while at home in the loving care of his family.

Fred was born March 30, 1937 in Negaunee, MI to the late Matt and Elsie (Koski) Levi. He was a life long area resident and worked 27 years for the Arola Bottling Company in Republic and 15 more years in Iron Mountain.

Fred loved fishing and hunting, working on fishing reels, gardening, tooling with water wells, and was known to always be tinkering around with something.

Fred is survived by his wife of 62 years Nancy (Rankinen) Levi, 3 children- Timothy (Lori) Levi, Todd Levi, Brenda Levi-Goulette, siblings- Marie Dumoulin, Charles (Louise) Levi, grandchildren- Tim, Matt, Ashley, Angie, 10 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister- Patricia Hendrickson, children- Arlen Levi, Cheryl Levi, and grandson Arlen Levi.

Fred's family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday September 2, 2017 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:00pm with Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate.
