Obituary

Republic Twp. – Frank Rominiecki, age 76 of 7608 Oak Dr., Republic Twp., passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Frank was born August 28, 1931, the son of the late Frank and Stella (Kelourecki) Rominiecki in Philadelphia, PA. He married Lorraine Nyback on March 12, 1960 and moved to Republic Twp. in 1986.

Frank served in the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict on the USS Coontz and also during the Vietnam War on the USS Brooke. During his years as a soldier, he served on several different ships and earned numerous decorations, medals and badges. He was honorably discharged after several years of faithfully serving his country. Frank was a member of the VFW, the Tin Can Sailors, and enjoyed playing pool, cribbage and visiting.

Survivors include a son: Steve Rominiecki of Republic, brother: Louie Rominiecki of Philadelphia, sister: Virginia Rosselli of Philadelphia, aunt: Florence Lewandowski of Florida, several nieces and nephews, and a special grand nephew: Dylan Wendt. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine on December 1, 2004.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at 4:00p.m. with the Pastor James Janofski to officiate.

Frank's family will greet friends and relatives from 2:00-4:00p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral Home.
