Obituary
Columbus, OH - Frances D. Woods, age 84, died Tuesday, October 21 at Wesley Glen Retirement Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born December 28, 1923 in Ishpeming, Michigan and had lived in the Columbus area the last five years.
She is survived by two daughters, Cosette (DG) Edgerton of Galena, Ohio and Rosemary Carlyon of San Jose California, five grandchildren, Shelley (Joe) Brown of Alexandria, Ohio, Christopher (Leslie) Mylin of Lewis Center, Ohio, Sarah (Christopher) Gilligan of Powell, Ohio, John Edgerton of Powell, Ohio, Adam Edgerton of Columbus, Ohio, three brothers, John Nardi, Salvatore (Helen) Nardi and Philip (Audrey) Nardi, all of Ishpeming, one sister Rosemarie (Michael) Victor of Homosassa, Florida, sister-in-law, Marilyn Nardi of Ishpeming, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Nardi and Rosa (Leone) Nardi, her first husband Dr. Stanley Carlyon of Negaunee, Michigan and her second husband Richard Woods, two brothers, Frank Nardi and Anthony Nardi and two sisters Angela Dye and Janet Hayek.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Ishpeming, Father Greg Heikkala officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the St. John the Evangelist Church Stained Glass Project, 325 S. Pine St., Ishpeming, MI 49849.
