Obituary
Ishpeming – Frances H. Kepler, age 89, longtime resident of 420 E. Division St., Ishpeming, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 while a resident at the Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee.
Frances was born February 15, 1927 in Ishpeming the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Philomena (DeNofrio) Russi. Frances was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School and a lifelong member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She had worked first at the H.W. Gossard Co. as a floor supervisor, and then at Northern Michigan University for many years in the printing office prior to her retirement.
Frances is survived by 2 sisters – Mary Santilli of Elgin, IL and Josephine Russi of Escanaba, a nephew Sim Santilli of Elgin, Il and a cousin Robert Homeier of FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Kepler in 1996 and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 9:30am on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Ishpeming Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. Larry Van Damme to officiate.
