Ishpeming- Evelyn Dunstan, age 78 of 157 Salisbury St. Ishpeming, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming where she been a patient for 1 day.

Evelyn was born August 16, 1929 in Negaunee, Michigan, the daughter of the late Turri and Jennie (Rivers) Johnson. She was a life long area resident and worked at the H.W. Gossard as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed playing horseshoes for Paradise Bar and playing BINGO. Evelyn like going to the casino and was most happy when she was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include 3 children: Greg (Patti) Dunstan of Illinois, Robert (Janice) Dunstan of North Carolina, and Cheryl (Steven) Guizzetti of Ishpeming, MI, 2 sisters: Priscilla Ogea of Negaunee, and Irene Vial of Ishpeming, a brother Turri (Jan) Johnson of Negaunee, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Alton Leroy Dunstan and 3 brothers: Wesley, Ralph and Howard Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 1:00PM at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Pastor Scott Lindenberg officiating.

The family will greet friends and relatives from 11:00AM until the time of service at 1:00PM on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the funeral home.
